Dig It Club Competitions ...

Our Club Agility Competitions are aimed at introducing beginners to competitions and for experienced dogs to practice their skills. They are open to club members and to non-members.

The rules are much more relaxed than those in our full shows giving everyone the chance to try out competing without the pressure .... all in a friendly informal atmosphere!

The courses will all be run inside in our Agility Arena - one ring, which is fully enclosed. ALL of the courses are grade 1-3 so suitable for beginners as it is the new handlers we want to encourage! Competitors are asked to help with leads and putting up poles and changing the heights.

RUNS: How many times have you thought.. I wish I could do that again?! So…. 2 runs per course per dog. The agility and jumping courses will be run twice by each dog and the best run of the two will count towards the awards. There will also be an option to run NFC (Not For Competition).
These competitions will be run inside in our Agility Arena – The Agility course first with rubber contacts but no seesaw, followed by a Jumping without weaves.

We are currently running a winter and a summer series of Club Competitions. Places will be limited, so book early! Note these Club Competitions now have a start time of 10am - show opens 9am and judging starts 10am.
We are also running some 'Just Eat' shows - these are a new addition to our show timetable where we offer the option to 'train in the ring' using food! These Just Eat shows are different to a 'normal' shows rules where no food is allowed. We want to encourage rewarding of contacts, start lines and small sequences at these shows. The courses are posted before the show date so you can see areas to work on prior to the show.
See the table below for all the details - download the schedules for full info and entry forms.
